I want to see playoffs as much as anyone. In reality it's more beneficial for the organization to trade those pieces plus Staal then standing pat and losing in the 1st round.

I wouldn't say it's a given we're to lose in the first round if we got in. Anything can happen and usually does in the playoffs. That said, not doing anything is probably unlikely with our deficiencies on offense in particular. Should be interesting in any event.

While I believe our success over the next couple weeks will decide RFs actions, I expect we will NOT trade all UFAs, but only when the return is BIG! We still need a starting and BU goalie, so Ward stays unless they get a good replacement for him! My prediction is Canes make the POs!

The '09 run proves that. In the end GMRF and PK will have to decide on short term fiscal benefit of atleast 2 home playoff games or the long term benefit (although not guaranteed success) of bringing in young talent.

I'm looking at picking up Nestrasil in a keeper league that I play in...
Can you guys give me any kind of info on him? I honestly don't get a chance to watch the Canes play very often, so I don't know much about him..

It looks like he's playing on the 2nd line right now? What kind of game does he play? Is he expected to improve much? Really any info would be helpful!
